I have an interesting history with garden flags and the creation of Breezyco.com! As with many in his generation, my father was very attentive to the grave of his parents. Each summer, he made sure lawn was mowed and weeds were pulled off the headstone and that flowers were put there for the summer holidays. To him, taking care of grave was an act of love and showed others that his parents were loved, respected, and cared for even in death.

My dad passed in 2012 and I wanted to find a way to honor him by taking care of his grave the way he took care of his parents. Since I don't have a green thumb and kill all my houseplants, I had to find another way to show this respect. I decided on Garden Flags! Each month since 2012 I change out Dad's flag to correspond with a season, a holiday, a sports team (Go Bills!) or other activity he loved. This makes me feel good and I know he would be pleased that his resting place was being cared for.

I have found so many flags that I have loved and enjoyed I decided to open a business supplying these to others. Not just as memorials but for livening up a garden or front yard, and just to make people smile!

In honor of my dad, I named this site Breezy. Breezy was his nickname as a young adult because he was so quick he ran like the wind. I found this name fitting for this store.
